Mandala means "circle" in sanskrit and represents the universe, or the entirety of your world. The balanced pattern brings an energy of balance and harmony. The idea of the mandala is that it represents your universe, your life, or your Self. So any meaning that you infuse within the mandala brings the intention of infusing that into your world, or your personal universe. Mandalas have a very significant meaning for me, with respect to how we create and hold the energies in our personal universe, manifesting our reality.
