Connemara Marble (from Connemara Ireland): one of the rarest forms of marble in the world, found only in County Galway. The green color is due to high serpentine content. Deposits date back up to 600 million years. Connemara is a region of Ireland imbued with a very grounding and stabilizing energy. The place, for me, brings a sense of serenity, connection and restoration that I’ve not experienced anywhere else. By sharing Connemara Marble pieces, I hope to bring this same feeling through this AiliA Creation.

Marble: Keeping a piece of marble with you during life transitions and changes is said to strengthen courage during adversity and help you ride out unavoidable traumas and conflicts with equanimity. A calming stone, it reminds us that our true source of strength comes from within. When life is chaotic, it is said to help you find stability and purpose.

Serpentine has historically been associated with divine power and wisdom. Serpentine is said to support bringing order to chaos, nurturing a sense of peace and joy. It is also used to activate the spiritual energies in the body.Together these qualities support a sense of stability, steadfastness and purpose in times of chaos; connection with our inner strength and knowing; restoration of the body and spirit; connection with the nurturing energies of the Earth (especially those of Connemara, Ireland).
